thankful heart

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest
appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.
~John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I am so fortunate to have each of you in my life!  This has been a really crazy year......I don't feel like I've given enough hugs or I love yous!  I thank God everyday for my family and friends!  I am so truly blessed to have my parents, hubby Mark, Devin & Ashley & Candy!  Just in case you've not heard, I am going to be a Mimi, Grandma, Granny.......not sure yet what I want to be called.  I think I'll let the little tike figure it out for me!  We're to find out around December 10th what the sex of the baby is!  Wow, God is great!  And then there's Candy, she's having the trip of a life time in Australia.  If you'd like to follow her adventures go to:  It's really neat to watch your children finding their path and maturing into adult hood.  Devin & Ashley becoming parents and Candy traveling the outback of Australia.

Mark and I went to Gary (Mark's brother-in-law) & Jeanne's (Mark's sister) home today for  our Thanksgiving gathering.  Oh my.....the food was fantastic and the fellowship was delightful! Jeanne has perfected the art of preparing a feast!  My all time favorite is her baked sweet potatoes!!!  yummy
I'm telling you, the entire meal was delish!  Thank YOU, Gary & Jeanne, for a great family gathering!

I had to tell the girl's in the family my funny Black Friday Walmart story from last year!  If you've never gone to Walmart for the Black Friday must.....just once!!!!!!  (most likely you'll never want to go again)  All I'll say for now, is it's another one of those crazy sister stories! heehee....

Great Nieces, Julia and Jacee kept us all in stitches!
(Our other 3 great nieces,Victoria, Bella & Sophia, couldn't be with us today!)
After the wonderful meal we found Jacee and Butter taking a quick lil cat nap!

I'm so behind on my post and so much to tell!  My gosh, I've not had time to tell you about my Silver Bella trip and all my new friends!  Again, that's another great sister story! Right after getting home from Silver Bella I found out that my hand surgery was a must.  It's been scheduled for December 2nd.  Needless to say I've been busy getting the tree & house decorated & my special holiday cards made!  Whoohoo......I'm done and ready! Well....maybe not 100%, but close!

As this Thanksgiving 2010 comes to an end......
I send peace, hugs & love to all!!!!!
